Why Georgina? Bringing Medical Aesthetics Closer to Home
Prestige Medical Aesthetics has a new location! Some people have asked me, “Why the Sutton / Georgina area? Why now?” So I’m going to share a bit about that decision and what’s going on at Prestige Medical Aesthetics these days.
One year ago, I moved to Georgina and found myself commuting to Toronto every workday. That’s an hour and a half each way! It was a lot.
As I settled into my new community in Georgina, I realized that this area didn’t really have many options when it came to medical aesthetics providers—particularly in Sutton.
It felt like a sign: Time to bring Prestige Medical Aesthetics to the place I now call home, Sutton.
Instead of making people who are seeking medical aesthetics in Sutton or Georgina schlep out to Keswick or Newmarket, they could keep it hyper-local and visit me at their new Sutton Medical Aesthetic Clinic!

A New Space Designed for Personalized, Patient-Centered Care
I love my Toronto clients, but working and commuting to the city started to take its toll, and that’s not where I want to be professionally or personally. Living in a smaller town means that I’m more likely to see people in the community, like at the grocery store. Seeing my clients pump their gas or pick up their Friday-night pizza at the local Domino’s really helps with relationship-building.
I decided that my “big-city aesthetic expertise” would absolutely fit into this smaller community, and maybe even flourish. Elevated patient-centred medical aesthetics can belong anywhere, so why not provide cosmetic injectables in Georgina?
Ultimately, I feel like a smaller town approach with big-city expertise is the formula for truly patient-centred care.
From Prestige Beauty Bar to Prestige Medical Aesthetics, Answering Your Question: What is Medical Aesthetics?
Some people have been asking me about the rebrand and why the new name in particular?
The basic answer?
People were stealing my company’s name, so I changed it.
That doesn’t capture the scope, though. The rebranding is a natural evolution that reflects my intent. Prestige Beauty Bar had to go for more than the basic reason—it didn’t resonate with my business anymore.
To some people, a beauty bar evokes mani-pedis, waxing, and similar spa-like services. I love a mani-pedi, but that’s not what I’m offering, and that’s not what clients will find when they walk through my doors.
I’m offering medical aesthetics in Georgina Sutton, highlighting my skills and expertise, and the services my clients receive: medically qualified, nurse-led medical aesthetics.

Medical aesthetics is a specialized field of healthcare that focuses on enhancing appearance and skin health through safe, non-surgical, medically guided treatments. At Prestige Medical Aesthetics, services such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, PRP, advanced facials, and medical-grade skincare are carefully tailored to support natural results, confidence, and long-term skin wellness, always guided by clinical expertise, safety, and individualized care.
The new name is a more authentic representation of what I offer and the experience and knowledge I provide as a cosmetic injection nurse.
Why the Rebrand Reflects a More Medical, Ethical Focus
I’m a nurse, and I’ve been practicing and teaching medical aesthetics for years. I need to honour that expertise and the education that comes with my credentials, and putting the medical before beauty is in service to that.
Beauty is subjective, and perfection doesn’t exist. That’s why my focus is on helping people build confidence and feel like their best selves. It takes a holistic approach that I wouldn’t be able to achieve by focusing solely on beauty, and it requires medical understanding and precision to get my clients where they want to go. I really use my medical knowledge every day.
There’s a lot that goes into beauty, and a big percentage of it is below the surface—diet, water intake, mental health—my education and experience understand all the variables, so I should really be highlighting that.

Ethics, Honesty, and Natural Results: The Prestige Philosophy
It’s really important to me to keep my business in line with my values: ethical practice, honesty, and transparency.
Some practitioners are willing to give people what they ask for, no questions asked, but that often leads to people looking overfilled and ultimately under-confident. It’s a bad look for everyone.
Sometimes people come to me with big ideas or big insecurities, and it’s my job to guide them in a direction that will actually help. That guidance can look like:
● Taking the time to really explain and thoroughly go over options.
● Letting my client know that they need less of something than they think they do, and they can always add more later if they want to.
● Encouraging a slower treatment pace so that the client can check in with themselves and get a sense of where they’re at on their external and emotional journey.
In an ethical medical aesthetics practice, practitioners need to check in with themselves and their clients to ensure that everyone is on the same page, no over-treatment is occurring, and nothing is happening that isn’t beneficial to the client. The likelihood of getting the dreaded overfilled look is reduced to almost zero when you go with an experienced, ethical practitioner who offers personalized aesthetic treatments.
You are more likely to achieve natural aesthetic results that look and feel good when you build a solid relationship between the client and the provider.

Treatments Available at the Sutton–Georgina Clinic
I’m offering the same great services I had in Toronto:
● Scupltra®
● Biostimulators
● Chemical Peels
● PRP Injections
Whatever your skincare goals and needs may be, you’ll be able to get your Sculptra, Tox, Dermal Fillers, and PRP Injections at my new location in Georgina-Sutton.
What are Cosmetic Injections & Skin Rejuvenation Services
(Sculptra®, Botox®, Dermal Fillers, Xeomin, Biostimulators, Chemical Peels, Microneedling)
Cosmetic injections are non-surgical medical aesthetic treatments designed to enhance and refresh your appearance while maintaining natural facial expression. At Prestige Medical Aesthetics, cosmetic injections include neuromodulators (such as Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin), dermal fillers, biostimulators like Sculptra®, and PRP treatments, each carefully selected and customized to smooth fine lines, restore volume, stimulate collagen, and support long-term skin health with subtle, balanced results.
A lot of clients are particularly interested in skin rejuvenation services, and not to worry, all the same great services are going to be available at both locations. I’m particularly excited about my new service: Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy.
Introducing PRP Injections at Prestige Medical Aesthetics
Speaking of what we’re offering at Prestige Medical Aesthetics in the new year…PRP injections are my newest treatment available, so I want to tell you a bit about them.

What Is PRP and How Does It Support Skin & Hair Health?
PRP stands for “Platelet Rich Plasma”. It’s a therapy that stimulates collagen, can help improve skin quality, and encourage hair regrowth.
A practitioner (me) takes some of your blood and then spins it to create a platelet-rich plasma. That PRP is then reinjected into the desired area to boost collagen.
It’s no more painful than a standard blood draw. Reintroducing plasma can be done in a couple of ways: via a cannula or microneedling. People say that microneedling is generally less painful. The option you choose may depend on the area being treated.
PRP isn’t a replacement for filler or biostimulators, but it’s a great complement to many of our other treatments and can make your results sparkle.
Who Is PRP Best For?
On its own, PRP is great for a variety of skin and hair complaints. I find myself particularly recommending it for:
● “Crepey” skin in general
● Undereye “crepeyness” where the skin is particularly thin (you can’t add filler to that area)
● Hair restoration and regrowth (so long as you have the follicles)
As an add-on treatment, I recommend it for acne scarring, regular scarring, and improving skin radiance.
Personalized Treatment Plans, Not One-Size-Fits-All Aesthetics
As a cosmetic injection nurse, I know that aesthetic treatments should always be personalized.
I’ve been asked how I ensure that each of my clients receives a tailored plan. The answer is simple: I talk to my clients!
No two clients are the same, and everyone comes to me with different goals and motivations. I try to get to the heart of what they’re looking for and tailor a plan around that.
For instance, I get a lot of people walking in with concerns about their jowls and facial volume loss. They’ll ask me for filler, but frequently, filler alone may not be the whole answer.
I talk to the client, assess their facial balance, consider medical factors, and make a plan. That plan may be to start with a biostimulator, and follow with a filler, PRP, and medical-grade skincare. It sounds like a lot, but ultimately it’s going to provide the client with longer-lasting results, with less maintenance requirements overall. It turns into more bang for your buck.
Clients sometimes focus on one issue only to discover new ones once that issue is dealt with. This kind of planning addresses all client complaints holistically, right upfront.
Making someone’s jawline look more defined isn’t going to be the same process for everyone—you have to take each client as they are. The client’s goals are what’s important.

Looking Ahead: Building Trust and Community in Sutton–Georgina
My business intention for 2026 is to continue evolving as a medical professional and cosmetic injection nurse while staying true to what has set me apart in Toronto: honesty, precision, and clients with whom I’ve built relationships and trust my expertise with their skincare goals.
Long-term, I want to on-board more practitioners, and maybe even find myself in a bigger clinic one day—but this year, it’s all about building community.
